YEMEN EMERGENCY APPEAL

Over the last 6 years a devastating conflict has caused a major humanitarian crisis in Yemen. Tens of thousands of lives have been lost and countless more destroyed. At present 80 percent of the country's entire population requires humanitarian assistance.

Aside from the pain, trauma and suffering caused, the future of the country is facing much uncertainty due to the crippled infrastructure and damaged economy. As a result 40 percent of all families in Yemen are forced in to debt to pay for the basic essentials that are required for their survival.

Children in particular are among those bearing the brunt of the man-made disaster. As it stands 12.3 million children in Yemen are in severe danger and every 10 minutes a child dies of malnutrition and preventable diseases.

With little to no access to basic necessities such as clean water, food, sanitation facilities & medical care, those suffering in Yemen cannot wait and need your urgent support now.

Our teams on the ground are providing emergency aid to help protect the families and children affected by war, disease, hunger and deprivation.
